Mosskito is a trendy café bar lounge situated in the heart of Clifton Hill and caters for all clientele. The Café Bar Lounge boasts polished floorboards, high ceilings and an elegant marble bar with ambient blue lighting. In contrast to this, white chairs and tables are placed on the opposite side of the room.

Amongst this roomy venue, decorative features are found in and around adding to its Mediterranean feel. Entering Mosskito’s lounge area patrons are welcomed with an array of stylish Chesterfield sofas, a traditional open fire place, coffee tables and a big screen DVD projector - a great place to relax.

Open for breakfast lunch and dinner 7 days per week, Mosskito is the ideal place to enjoy an excellent feast. Whatever your requirements, Mosskito can tailor an evening to suit you.

Mosskito Café
Seating up to 300 guests. Our café offers an extensive range of International cuisine with a strong emphasis on Mediterranean cuisine. A minimum of 5 guests is required for bookings, anything less just come on down and our friendly staff will be happy to accommodate you. Bookings must be confirmed 2 days prior to the function and on the day, if numbers drop less than 5 guests, a $10.00 fee per guest will be charged.


Mosskito Lounge
With our elegant chesterfield lounges, this area provides comfortable and spacious seating accommodating up to 12 guests per lounge. Positioned in front of the mega screen and open fire place it’s an ideal place to eat and drink. On Friday and Saturday night lounges are only available to dining patrons.


Outdoor External Dining
Available on those nice balmy nights or great sunny days. Seating approximately 50 to 60 guests, the outdoor area is perfect for that great unwind.


The Fly Bar
One of Mosskito’s hidden gems. At the rear of Mosskito lies The Fly Bar, a Self-contained private function room with private bar, big screen and lounge area.

The Fly Bar accommodates up to 80 guests. There is no hiring fee for the room, however a minimum spend of $1000.00 is required with a deposit of $200 to secure your reservation. The $1000 spend can be broken down into both food and beverage consumption. You have the option of having a bar tab or guests paying for their drinks or a beverage package which consist of only House wine, champagne and Local beers. A minimum of three hours, cost per guests per hour $9.00

The flybar is not available Saturday evenings.


Parking
There is plenty of parking at the front and back of the property which is free after 18:30 in the evenings.


Music
Can be played upon request in the fly bar. Please confirm music choice with the functions manager for pre-approval.


Big Screen DVD
Please speak to the functions manager regarding the DVD that you wish to play for the evening. Remember copyright rules and regulations may be enforced for some films and features.


Cakes
Please advise us at least 5 working days in advance should you wish for us to organize you a specific cake for your special occasion. Otherwise should you wish to bring your own there will be an additional charge of $0.50.


Menus for your occasion
Free of Charge. Colored paper is also available upon request for themed nights. Additional charge may be incurred for outsourced paper.


Decorations
Set up can be organized 2 hours prior to your function.


Mossy Kids
Menus can be provided prior to your occasion. Show bags can also be provided before the night. Please advise at least a week before the occasion. See our Kids Menu for more details.
