 Restaurant Situated in the heart of Clifton Hill (North Fitzroy). The new trendy café is the ideal place to eat or drink. The bar/lounge/cafe boasts polished floorboards, high ceilings and an elegant marble bar lit up with blue light. The stark white chairs and tables on one side of the room, as well as other decorative touches, give a modern Mediterranean feel to this roomy venue. Seating up to 200 guests our café proudly offers an excellent range of
International cuisine with a strong Mediterranean influence. You can choose to
have breakfast any time from opening to 4 pm or indulge yourself with any other
item such as our famous pancake or Chicken parmagania at any time of the
day.
With groups of 5 or more please phone ahead to ensure you get a table but for groups of 4 or less you are welcome to come in, we will always find you a table with a minimum of fuss.  The Lounge Mosskito's other side welcomes patrons with an array of Chesterfield couches, capable of comfortably seating large groups, Sit back and enjoy the warmth of our open fireplace while indulging in a glass of wine while watching the GIANT screen. Nestling here with a cocktail or coffee is highly recommended!  The Fly Bar At the rear of the restaurant lies the Fly Bar which is a multi-function room. Self-contained, the Fly Bar can be utilised for private functions ranging from parties to corporate presentations. Able to accommodate 80 people, it can be closed to the public and has its own GIANT screen and sound system. For the business minded we are able to run your computer through our system for presentations on a scale which will impress your clients. Being family friendly we have many young mothers groups who regularly meet
during the day and enjoy the relaxed environment that the Fly Bar offers, as
they are able to make a crèche of their own knowing that their babies are safe
and they can enjoy a respite from the day to day while we spoil them.
For those who like to learn to dance, we have Salsa dance lessons in our Clifton Hill Fly Bar on Monday nights. Enjoy meeting new people and sharing a great experience with trained dance instructors. Make an evening of it and watch Desperate Housewives while recharging your batteries after dancing, with a pancake and hot chocolate.  |
